First family Camping Trip -Oak Mountain

Back in December Aubrey saw Beetoven's 3rd with the Saint Bernard and the family travelling in an RV. Ever since then he has been begging us to get an RV. He even asked the Easter Bunny to bring him one. Lucky for us, Miss Joanna (a teacher at Daddy's school), pictured with Aubrey above, heard about how much he wanted one and agreed to let us borrow hers to go camping at Oak mountain. He was sooo excited and that is all he talked about for weeks. Well this weekend we finally got to go and the boys had a blast. We went walking through the woods, played at the camp play area, rode bikes, went to the pet farm and even went to the Wildlife Rescue center. They thought it was so neat to get to live in an RV. In the evening all of the grandparents came to the campsite to roast weanies and marshmallows with us. I think that was the highlight of the trip although Aubrey kept getting upset because his would not cook! (He was standing about 10 feet from the fire!! Ha!). Eli on the other hand had no fear and walked right up to it giving Mommy a heart attack. They played so hard that they slept right through the all night thunder storms that kept Mommy & Daddy up. Anyway, we all had a lot of fun and it was nice to get away for a brief couple days and relax!
Stay tuned tomorrow for baby news. Our US is at 8am!
