Every year the week before Christmas we have a family tradition of going somewhere to see lights. This year we went to Nashville to the Opryland hotel. It was gorgeous but due to the lighting most of my pics did not turn out. The boys really enjoyed walking around the hotel and we even took the Delta river boat ride around inside the hotel.
We stayed with some friend of ours in Franklin who were gracious enough to open their home to us even though they were getting ready to head out of town. They are pictured above. (Jon, Mary Ann, and Nathan (9 months) Maxson. We enjoyed seeing them and visiting some.
While we were there we were able to go to the Children's Museum and the Nashville Zoo. The boys had a blast at both. We finished the weekend off at the Opry Mills mall eating lunch at the Rain Forest Cafe'. It was a fun little 2 day getaway.
Nathaniel was with us but he slept through most of the excitement so I did not have any good pics of him! Stay tuned for my next post to see pics of the boys at Christmas and Nathaniel in his Santa hat!
