Well this is Aubrey's second season in soccer and he is doing great! He is on the Blue Blizzard team and seems to be really enjoying it. He has stayed out there and actually gone after the ball with his team. We are so happy because his doctor encourages athletics for diabetics to keep his BS in check and his weight etc. good so we are glad he is starting to enjoy this.Eli is in his 1st season and is on the Orange Comets team. He hasn't decided yet if he likes it. I know you are probably thinking at 3 he is too young but when he looked at me with big tears in his eyes last season and begged to play soccer like Aubrey I just had to give him a chance to try. He is so shy and takes a long time to warm up to people. He has not wanted to go out on the field much but he did finally sit with his team on the sidelines and go out on the field for a couple rounds. The funniest thing was during halftime when no one else was on the field he walked out with his ball and kicked it right into the goal! He scored at his first game, only it was not during the game itself! LOL He told me later he wanted to play his game after all of the people went home! Anyway, maybe this will help get him to the point where he wants to play on a team. (Either that or we bought a $100 orange jersey/nightgown and some shin guards so he can look like big brother. Ha!)
The hardest part was trying to watch both games at the same time since they were both at 10:30am on adjoining fields. I have a feeling we will be having that problem a lot with 3 boys!
Stay tuned tomorrow for Nathaniel's 5 month pics.
