Hoppy Easter Part 2

This has been a fun but very busy weekend. On Wednesday night we colored eggs with Aubrey & Eli. On Friday night I hosted my sister Amber's Bridal shower ( I will post some pics later). Saturday afternoon we went to my parents house to get the boys baskets and hunt eggs with all of the cousins. Those pics are below. The picture with all of the kids includes Ana, (an exchange student from Venezuela we hosted when Amber was in High School), our other sister who is here visiting this week! The big white bunny with Nathaniel was from my parents and he loves to snuggle it up to his face. The kids each had one color of eggs they were supposed to hunt and they all had a blast!
On Sunday morning the boys got up and got ready for church and then we went to see what the Easter bunny brought. They are pictured above with their baskets. Nathaniel could fit in his basket! The first thing he reached for was a bright blue teether with a caterpillar. The boys got modeling clay, movies, sunglasses, toys and some candy! Eli decided to read Nathaniel's new farm book to him. How cute is that!
Of course we wore our Easter clothes inside but since it was 30 degrees ( it was 85 degrees just last week!!!) we had to bundle up for church. At church we kept the 2 year olds during the Passion Play so that kept us hopping. After church we went to Grandma & Grandpa's for Easter dinner! The boys got some really cute sand buckets full of Easter goodies and we hunted eggs with cousin Amy. Those pics are above as well. Overall the boys had a great time and Nathaniel enjoyed his first Easter! Now if we can just control blood sugars with all of this candy!!!! We are exhausted!!
Remember to thank God for sending his son to die for all of us! Praise the Lord, He is Risen!!
