Festive Fun 2007!

This has been a busy couple of weeks! We have been to see Santa, been to several Christmas parties, made gingerbread houses and had lots of fun.

Since Grandma has been feeling so sick this year we decided to buy gingerbread kits and do them at our house. The boys had a blast working with Grandpa and Grandma to decorate their houses. Their final products turned out really cute and most of the candy actually went on the houses! (Mainly because it was not any of their favorites!) Eli also got to build a house at his preschool party which is also in the pics above.

The group of teenagers is Missy's Homeschool Spanish class. They had a party as well and brought all kinds of recipes from Spanish Countries, listened to Carols in Spanish and talked about the different traditions of each Spanish Country. They are a fun group and Missy has enjoyed getting to teach some again.

Nathaniel has been really sick this winter. He has already had a fever virus, 3 ear infections and walking Pnuemonia. The good news is his Diabetes tests came back negative which means that as of now he does not have the antibodies for it and is not predisposed to get it. He could still develop the antibodies at a later date but at least we know right now he is not developing it. Even being sick, he has still managed to enjoy all of the decorations and loves the lights and tree. He has already broken 3 ornaments and as you can see he enjoys undecorating the tree. His eyes light up when he sees Santa or a Snowman and he has the cutest grin. We cannot wait to see him on Christmas Morning.

Hope you enjoy the pics. We will post more after Christmas! Merry Christmas!!
