Happy Resurrection day!!Easter was a lot of fun this year. When the boys woke up they came down and found their easter baskets and hunted the indoor eggs. Aubrey got the Star Wars Movies, a Webkins puppy which he named Bingo , and some candy etc. Eli got E.T. the movie, an Elephant Webkins which he named Fuzzy Huzzy (Don't ask! We did not teach him that word!), and some candy. Nate got bubbles, a stuffed duck that quacks because he loves to say "Quack, Quack", and some baby crayons that look like weebles. You can see in the pic below that he enjoyed the crayons. Of course Nate's favorite thing about Easter was the plastic eggs or "balls" that he could throw all over the house. After we got dressed and ate CC pancakes that Daddy made, we hunted the eggs outside which was a little chilly!
We started out the day by attending our church's passion play which was very powerful. We took Aubrey for the first time since he was saved recently we wanted him to understand better. It was a little long for him but I think that he truly realized how much Christ suffered.
After church we went to Mamaw and Pop's house to hunt eggs and get more baskets and candy! The kids always enjoy hunting eggs at their grandparents because there are a few eggs with money!
After the egg hunt we went to Aunt April's new house and ate a big feast. The kids had a blast playing in her back yard with their cousins. We took pics in front of April's blooming trees but most of us had changed so sorry you do not get to see the dressed up pics accept for April's crew. I never got a pic of Kirstin's family because Mylee was either fussing or asleep when we did pics. I did manage to get a few cute ones of Mylee before she got upset.
We did not get to do anything with Brent's family this year since one brother is out of town and the other was on his honeymoon. The boys did go spend the night with them this past Friday night and they had a blast dyeing eggs, gardening, and going to McDonald's.
Happy Easter! He is Risen!
