Fall Festivities and Fun...

Whew! What a busy weekend. I will give you a play by play of all the fun!
Friday-The boys went to Aunt Amber's and had a blast playing with her dogs and carving a pumpkin! Mommy & Daddy went to see Fireproof which is an awesome movie for couples by the way!
Saturday- We started out at the JDRF walk (see previous post) and then went to the zoo. It has been over a year since we have been and Aunt Amber & Uncle Brad got us Season passes so we decided to head that way after the walk. Nate had not been since he was a baby so he was in awe! He loved the Zebras and the White Tiger. The other two had a blast as well. They always enjoy the pet farm area with goats, tractors, cows, pigs etc.
After the zoo we went home to take naps, ate a quick dinner and went to get pumpkins.
Sunday-We went to SS at our church and then headed to Mamaw & Pop's church for Family Fun Day. We ate a huge lunch, rode on a hay ride, pet horses, bounced in the moonbounce, rode SUV's and played all kinds of games to win prizes! Of course Aubrey won 3 cupcakes in the cake walk! The boys all had a lot of fun and asked on the way home when we were going back to Pop's church. I think they thought it was like that every week!
After Fun Day we got home pretty late so we took late naps, ate a late dinner and then started carving pumpkins. We decided to save money this year and do the pumpkins the old fashioned way. Instead of using patterns we just let the boys draw the faces they wanted and Daddy carved them out. They still turned out cute!
After all of that we were exhausted so we all went to bed early last night!
Stay tuned for a post about Eli's special Fall Festival at school!
