Christmas with the Doebler Side

We went to Mamaw and Pop's today to celebrate with them and then afterwards we opened gifts, the rest of the family arrived for our big lunch and cousin exchange.
We always start with reading the Christmas story from the Bible. Pop reads it out loud.
The boys got some cool stuff this year from Mamaw and Pop. Aubrey got a Nintendo DS which he is so excited about. Eli got a really cool standing Easel for all of his art supplies, and Nate got a toy electric guitar. They also each got a special pillow with their name on it and a book in the pocket. Mommy and Daddy got Season Passes to Six Flags for the whole family! Yeah! We got Pop some Ole Miss Slippers and Mamaw a new blender.
For lunch we had honey baked ham with homemade relish, cornbread dressing, pasta salad, hash brown casserole and caramel apple cheesecake and pumpkin pie for dessert. It was delicious!
In the cousin exchange Aubrey got a carrying case for his DS and some cool light saber pens. Eli got the 101 Dalmatian movie which he has been asking for, and Nate got a Mickey Mouse movie. They were so excited to get home and try out all of their new stuff!
Now we are headed to Christmas Eve service at our church. We want the boys to remember that Jesus is the real gift of this season! Merry Christmas Eve!
