For those if you who have not heard we bought a new car this weekend. Our plan was for Brent to continue driving the old van until this Summer. It was paid off and we wanted to get some debt paid before we added a 2nd car payment. It had 150.000 plus miles on it and last week it decided to quit on us. It was going to cost close to $2000 to fix and it was not even worth that so we decided to go ahead and bite the bullet and get something. We decided on the Kia because they are inexpensive cars that get good gas mileage. Basically this car will just be used for Brent to get back and forth to work so we did not want anything fancy or expensive. So far we have really enjoyed driving it and even though we have picked up an additional car payment, at least we will save some on gas. Happy New Year to us!
