Eli went to the Pumpkin patch with his class yesterday. Daddy went along.He had a good time for the first half of the trip. He picked out hispumpkin, pet animals in the pet farm, played in the hay and took a hay ride. Unfortunately by the end of the day he was running fever and we ended up at the ER. He was running a high temp, wheezing really bad from his Asthma and his blood sugar was sky high. We found out that he had strep throat. They gave him fluids, shots of antibiotics, steroids and lots of poking and prodding. Thankfully after a long night they let us go hame about 2:30am. We are all exhausted but thankful that Eli is ok. He is still pretty puny but at home resting. So are the rest of us!
