We had a wonderful time this weekend visiting with some old friends. Kris and Scott have been friends with Missy since our Freshman year at Carson-Newman College. We have both lived all over the place but they are now settled in Ft. Worth, Texas with their 2 kids Josh (8) and Abby (6). We had not seen them in almost 4 years so our kids got to meet and form some new friendships. We enjoyed eating Barbecue and swimming together. The parents even managed to get in one game of Trivial Pursuit (90's edition) while the kids played and watched movies. Although there was an age gap and some different interests, the kids became buddies and Aubrey and Eli were sad to see their new friends head back to Texas. Nathaniel seemed to enjoy their visit as well as he was kicking more than usual. Aubrey made sure to tell them that they should come back when his new baby brother "Thaniel" arrives. Overall it was a nice time of catching up and hanging out! We hope some day to make it down to Texas to see them!!!
