Jagger Benson's party was number 3 for the day! He had a precious tractor cake and lots of bubbles and water for the kids to play in. Of course Aubrey & Eli ran through the sprinkler in their clothes before we could change them so we had to ride home in underwear/diapers! They also enjoyed the pool at Jagger's Aunt's house once the rain stopped!
The next morning we got up and left for Atlanta. We drove through pooring rain the whole way and unfortunately we were unable to take the boys to Olympic park to play in the fountains due to the lightning etc. We did get to take them on the subway train which they loved! Eli kept asking why the train was still in the tunnel. We walked around Underground some and then headed to my
Aunt's house in McDonough (about 45 minutes from Atlanta). On the way there in the pooring rain again on I-75, we got a flat tire! At that time we were so thankful that Brent's Mom gets our AAA membership renewed every year as part of our Christmas. The guy was there in about 20 minutes and changed our tire right there on the small shoulder of the Interstate. We got to my Aunt's later in the evening safe and sound. While visiting with my Aunt the boys went fishing, swimming (pictured on right racing in pool with Daddy and Aunt Carol), and played with their dog Bridget. On Tuesday morning we got up and left for Marietta to American Adventure. It is a theme park owned by Six flags that is geared toward younger kids. Our boys were able to ride everything and they really enjoyed the roller coaster and the slide! Anyway, it was a very fun 3 day trip despite the rain. It has been so much fun having some family time this summer! It will definitely shake things up when we have 3 boys to chase!
