Well you could say that this trip was full of surprises!
Since the boys had been to Disney twice before we decided to do the 7 day passes to Sea World. We went 5 times during our 8 day visit in addition to swimming at Orange Lake (Brent's parents own a condo there and they have awesome pools!), riding the monorail at Disney (outside the park), and having breakfast at Disney Beach club with Goofy and pals.
Instead of writing a long blurb I am going to divide this into two segments. (Grizwold moments & Trip Highlights)
Grizwold moments
1) Our parents made our reservations for us since it was their timeshare and we told them the week we were going. Unfortunately we assumed that we had the condo Saturday to Saturday and when we arrived to check in after a 10 hour ride with two toddlers, we found out we were registered for Sunday Check-in! So we got to drive around looking for a cheap hotel with a vacancy for 1 night!
2) After we finally found a place I was bathing the boys and my feet slipped out from under me and I fell on my belly onto the bathtub. That was really scarey but the baby moved all night and all was ok!
3) On our first day at Sea World we went to a Shamu character breakfast that we had reserved several months beforehand. We had stated that Aubrey was diabetic and needed sugar-free syrup but of course they had none! On top of that the breakfast was no comparison to Disney character breakfasts we had been to
4) On our 2nd visit to Sea World we were sitting in the indoor Pet's Ahoy show in the dark. I set my camera and cell phone in the seat next to me so Eli sould sit in my lap. When the lights came back up my cell phone had been stolen! Luckily my camera had been under Eli's hat so the thief must not have seen it.
5) The one day that we decided to go ride the monorail, we got stuck going from the bus to the train in a down poor thunderstorm. We all got completely soaked~ Of course the boys thought it was hilarious.
Highlights will be continued on next post since this one will not hold anymore!!
