Well we have all been sick with colds this week so we decided to do something fun to cheer everyone up! (Not to mention that Aubrey was asking when we would carve the pumpkins about once every 5 minutes!!!) The boys had a good time "helping Daddy". Their true personalities were evident when Aubrey would not touch any of the pumpkin goo and Eli dug right in and was trying to see how much he could get out in one scoop. Aubrey was much more into "helping daddy with the carving tools" which made mommy nervous! Anyway, this year the boys wanted to try the Winnie the Pooh patterns so we made Pooh bear for Eli and Eeore for Aubrey. We have decided that we found the "Great Pumpkin" since Aubrey's weighed about 40 lbs.!!! Nathaniel sat in his swing and watched all the action. His little pumpkin that the boys picked out was just right for his size!! I am sure he will get in on things next year.
Aubrey & Eli are going to Diabetes Camp at Camp Seale Harris next weekend with Grandma and Grandpa! They are so excited and will be able to dress up and carve pumpkins while there as well. Lots of GOOO for Grandpa!
