Update on Brad & Amber

Well Brad is at Brookwood medical Center and is doing some better. The surgeons are trying to decide whether to do the surgery on his pelvis or let it heal on it's own. Apparently the main break is close to some main arteries and the surgery could be very risky. If they let it heal on his own the recovery time is longer but not as risky. They are waiting on a surgeon who is an expert in cases like this to return from China. He will probably be in to assess things on Monday.
Meanwhile Brad has started seeing a Physical Therapist who is helping him out of bed at very brief intervals. He is unable to put any pressure on his Right side but was able to hobble to the shower yesterday and felt so much better!
Right now they are leaning toward getting married in the hostpital on the 16th as planned and then postponing the ceremony to August 19th. That date is a Sunday but is the only time available at American Village where they are getting married. The Saturdays were booked up through December. So far everyone involved (caterer, photographer etc.) has been very understanding and willing to postpone to that date.
Please continue to pray for Brad's healing. Pray that his pain will be minimal and that they will be able to wean him off of the pain meds. Pray for their finances as he will be out of work for 6-8 weeks at the least and she has been off this whole week!
All of this has been very stressful but we are thankful that they are alive! God was definitely watching over them.
