Well my boys are growing up way to fast! We celebrated Aubrey's 7th and Eli's 5th birthday last night! It was an awesome party. I was so thankful for a great turnout(around 20 kids and at least that many adults), wonderful weather, and 2 very happy little boys. (3 if you count Nathaniel since he loves cake!!) We had an outdoor Scooby-Doo movie party. It was a lot of fun. We borrowed a projector and hung a sheet from our front porch. We opened gifts and ate cake first so we could watch the movie after dark. They watched "Chill Out Scooby Doo" which is about the Yeti or snow monster. I was amazed at how quiet the kids were and how well they paid attention to the movie. Nate even watched from Pop's lap until he could not hold his eyes open!It was around 65 degrees so it was nice and cool with clear skies. We served popcorn, popsicles, doritos and of course cake. Aubrey wanted a Mystery Machine cake and Eli wanted one with Scooby's face. Aubrey's was much harder than I thought on my first attempt but with some help from my Mom we completely redid it. The boys got all kinds of gifts including walkie-talkies, movies, Wii games, board games, books, cars & trucks, play-dough and much more! We are still buying batteries and cleaning up boxes!! Anyway, it turnd out to be one of my favorite parties we have had with good food, fun and fellowship! If I could only stop them from growing up!! Happy Birthday guys!
