This weekend we had a lot of fun. It was nice to get to celebrate a little after a sad & stressful week last week. On Saturday we went to the Zoolight Safari. They have blow up things, all kinds of lights, a train ride with Christmas music and the kids can sit on Santa's lap. This was the 4th time my kids have seen Santa this year so Nate finally felt comfortable enough for me to leave him in Santa's lap. He was feeling especially brave and even pet a snake! Yuk!! Unfortunately my pics of the lights are pretty blurry!
Today we went over to Grandma and Grandpa's house and made a gingerbread train. It turned out really cute and by the time we left the kids were bouncing off the walls! (They always eat more candy than they put on the train) This was Nate's 1st year to do it and after he realized it was edible he lost interest in the train and started eating it all like his brothers. We had a great time with the grandparents and now we have a great centerpiece for Christmas dinner!!
