It has been a fun weekend even though very busy! On Friday night one of my best friends in the world and her husband Brad came over for dinner. Lisa Willis was one of my Matrons of Honor in my wedding and is very special to me. Unfortunately, I have not seen her in about 18 months since she moved to Troy. She is expecting her first baby (little Brad)in April and we are so excited for her! I am helping throw her shower in about 2 weeks. Eli was in rare form while they were here and possibly made them regret their decision to have kids :)! He kept beating up on Brad. Aubrey showed off his skills on the Wii with Brad. Nate kept calling him Uncle Brad which is understandable since he has 2 Uncle Brads already! We had a great time of fellowship with them and cannot wait until they have their first little guy!
On Saturday, Aubrey had Basketball pictures and a game. He is playing Upward Basketball again this year and is on the Spurs team. He has really enjoyed it and although he probably will not get athelete of the year, we have seen some major improvements in his skills.
After Basketball stuff Aubrey got to race in his first Boyscout Pinewood Derby. His car that he created was a police cruiser and he was very proud of it. He got 2nd place twice and 3rd and 4th the other times. He had a blast watching all of the cars race and got some good ideas for next year!
I am now off to complete my first Power Point assignment for Grad school...:( My life just got more hectic!!
