Well we had another weekend full to the brim but it was so gorgeous outside it made it so much more enjoyable. Aubrey had his last Upward basketball game Saturday and he did really well. He stole the ball a couple times, got a basket and stayed on his guy that he was guarding most of the time. He has really come a long way since the beginning of the season. Nate and Eli enjoyed Miss Amber's basketball cookies while they watched!
After the game we headed to the zoo. It was 70 degrees and so pretty outside. Since the boys both got cameras for Christmas they had to take pics of everything!! They take after their mom that way!! Nate did not want to stay in his stroller and kept running ahead at full speed. They all loved the Lorkeet exhibit where the kids are able to buy nectar and the birds will come sit on you and drink it. I had to try out some of my color effects on these pics! The birds are such pretty bright colors. Nate would not hold any food but he let daddy hold him up to see the birds close-up. Of course we had to ride the train and pet the goats and sheep in the petting area. The boys had a great time and used up some Winter energy.
Saturday night we went to Mamaw and Pop's house to celebrate Aunt Kirstin's birthday! Her favorite is cookie cake!
Sunday morning was scout Sunday and Aubrey had to hand out bulletins and take up the offering at church. He did a great job! (Especially greeting everyone as they came in since he loves to talk!)
Sunday afternoon I was one of the hostesses for Lisa Willis's baby shower. She is one of my best friends and I am so excited to see her become a 1st time mom. She got lots of great stuff and all had a great time!
We ended our terribly busy weekend by going to the Upward ending celebration last night. They show slide shows of the games, have a guest entertainer for the kids and end with giving the gospel. It was a lot of fun!
Now I am so tired I can hardly stay awake!!!
