We decided to enjoy nature a little today and took the boys to Oak Mountain Park. We hiked to what is supposed to be Peavine Falls although with so little rain it was more like a trickle. The boys enjoyed climbing on the rocks etc. On the way back up it was a little tougher. They were all tired and Nate had a meltdown. His little legs had just gone far enough. We ended up carrying him most of the way back and that is a workout since he weighs about 34 lbs. It was really hot but the scenery was gorgeous. God's handy work always makes me wonder how anyone could see that and not believe in Him. Man could never do such a glorious job at creation!
