We got to go to Orange beach just for 2 days this week. My parents were down there for a conference and my sisters went with their kids but they had to leave a day early so we went down and stayed in their room. Brent could not come :( since he had interviews and a luncheon. My niece and nephew stayed and hung out with my boys and they all had a blast. Nate loved the ocean and kept running into the waves and even after getting knocked down went back for more! They played in the sand, the ocean, the condo pool, the kiddie sprinkler fountains, and had a great time! Monday night we all got dressed up and went out to dinner at the Wharf. It was a dinner given by Lathan and Assoc. for all of the School board members. The food was excellent and considering how hyper my kids are they behaved pretty well over all. After dinner we went to ride the ferris wheel and then headed back to the condo. Eli and Nate went to bed and I took Austin and Aubrey crab hunting. They had fun but only caught 2 spider crabs.
Tuesday morning we went back out the beach for about an hour before we had to check out. I got stung by something and it burned like fire!
We checked out and headed to Lambert's for lunch. Yummy but loud! We ate a ton and then went shopping for my early birthday clothes (in August) at the outlet mall. I am so glad we found some things because I have nothing worthy of teaching in! We headed home after shopping and it poured down rain almost the entire day! We stopped at Preister's Pecans and had a quick snack and got home about 7:30 last night! It was a whirlwind trip but fun. The boys had a wonderful time and were begging to stay another night! Thanks Pop for initing us!
