The Princess Bride.....Amber's wedding 8/19/07

Well after a horrible accident in June and postponing the wedding 2 months, my baby sis finally had her princess wedding! Everything was gorgeous. Of course my 2 handsome boys made awesome ring bearers along with their cousin Gavin. The wedding was at the chapel at American Village. The reception was in the barn. Everything was candelight and it turned out really pretty. Here is the Bridal party list so you can see who all are in these pics. Bridesmaids were Missy (me), my other 2 sisters Kirstin (8 months prego) and April, and 4 of Amber's good friends. The flower girls were Ashtynn, my niece and Piper Higgins (Amber's friend's little girl). The ring bearers were Aubrey, Eli, and Gavin. (They were so cute and behaved so well!! ) and Austin was a Jr. Groomsman. The Best Man was Brad's Dad and the other groomsmen were old friends of Brad's. Austin caught the garter in the pic above and his sister caught the bouquet. Only in Alabama would that be possible!!!Ha! The bash ended with a bang when they took off at 9:30 pm in a helicopter! It was a lot of fun but boy were we all tired! Enjoy the pics!

A few funnies from the wedding....
1)Aubrey & Eli went low during pics and had to have snacks. Eli demanded that he have Cheetos!! I sat right beside him and watched each one so they would not get on his tux!
2)Amber's hoop skirt came unsewn right before pics and Mom had to relace & sew it.
3) The florist forgot to bring the unity candle so my Aunt had to run out and buy one an hour before the wedding. Then during the ceremony Amber & Brad lit the unity candle but forgot to blow out the other candles.
4)Aubrey decided he had to pee as we were about to go into the church to walk down the isle. We could not go in yet since people were still being seated so he had to pee on a bush outside the chapel.
5)During all of the pre-wedding confusion, the formal napkins were never brought to the church. During the reception we had no napkins until an employee of American Village came in with some Walmart specials with butterflies on them. It was so hilarious but Amber never even noticed.
