Strep, Flu & Fracture...

Well this has been a rough weekend to say the least! We were supposed be out of town for a special anniversary night but we had to postpone. Brent is sick with the flu, Eli has strep and stayed home from school Friday and Brent's Mom is really sick and has been admitted to the hospital. So this morning I decided to take Aubrey & Nate to Jump Zone since they were having a special event for Diabetic children and their families. They had an informaional meeting for the adults while some other adults watched the kids jump and play. Well Nathaniel ended up falling down on one of the blow up things, (we think some other kids may have fallen on him)and was in a lot of pain. He would not let me put him down or put his shoes and socks on. We took him to after hours and with X-rays found out it is a fracture in his leg bone (lower shin). He is in a splint right now an has to go in for a cast on Tuesday/Wednesday. Meanwhile he cannot put any pressure on it so we are having to carry him all over the place and try to keep him from walking etc. That is fun with a 2 year old! Please keep us all in your prayers as he will probably have to be in a cast for awhile.Also pray that my Mother-in-law will feel better and be able to come home for the holiday weekend.
