A weekend of Thanks!

We have had a wonderful weekend as a family! On Wednesday we drove out to a new Bass Pro shop that is about 40 minutes from our house. We mainly went out of curiousity and to let the boys see Santa. They had so much fun walking around and looking at all of the decorations, animals, camping stuff etc. They got to sit in Santa's lap although Nate would not go unless I was holding him. It was great because we got through the line so fast as compared to the mall where we wait 30 minutes or more in line. They got to test drive mini sports cars, sit in tents, try on hats and check out boats. It was great for some free entertainment! We even let the boys all split some fudge in the candy shop.
On Thursday we got all of our decorations out and put up our tree which smells sooo good. We went to my parents house for Thanksgiving dinner which was special since my Grandfather (pappy) was there this year. (My Grandma passed away this past Summer)He is in the picture with Nate and with my sisters and I. We ate way to much but it was all delicious!
On Friday Brent took the boys bowling with my Pappy while I cleaned house and got ready for his family. They had a lot of fun. Brent's parents and his brother and Angel came over for barbecue and we ate way to much again but we had a nice time of visiting.
Overall it was a great weekend and we are very thankful that God has blessed us with such a wonderful family and friends.
Nate Update: As you can see in a few of the pics Nate has his cast now. He picked red which at least is festive with Christmas coming. He will not walk on it but crawls around dragging it behind him. He at least can take a bath in it since it is water proof! He has to wear it for 4 weeks so it will come off the week before Christmas. He topped his week off by busting his chin last night on the end table so now he has a big gash and bruise to go with his lame leg :( He still manages to be a sweetheart through everything.
